  Where, specifically, do you want to purchase the book?  If you
purchase the book from www.freebsdmall.com, then you are certainly
supporting a company that has done a lot for the FreeBSD community.
The money spent at FreeBSDMall will be used to pay a team of
developers to continue working on FreeBSD, as well as to allow more
products to be made and distributed to retail stores world-wide.

  If you buy the book from iUniverse.com, a small percentage of the
proceeds are supposed to go somewhere, but that "somewhere" might be
the FSF as far as I know.  Nik will have to clarify here.

  You can also buy the 1st Edition Handbook from BSDi through several
other resellers, but obviously more middle-persons are taking a cut
along the way.
