Wouldn't a remove/add keep the > history, and accomplish the same thing, essentially? billf@jade$ locate squeak |grep usr/ports/lang |grep Makefile |grep -v files /usr/ports/lang/squeak/Makefile /usr/ports/lang/squeak2/Makefile Both ports currently exist. The author is saying that squeak is no longer needed as squeak2 replaces it. A cvs remove doesn't loose the history of the file at all. And the remove/add which you speak of is a repository copy, in which a replica is made, and then the original is cvs remove'd to keep the history. Otherwise, we'd just re-import. - bill fumerola - billf@chc-chimes.com - BF1560 - computer horizons corp - - ph:(800) 252-2421 - bfumerol@computerhorizons.com - billf@FreeBSD.org - To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
