When I try to apply patch zlib (SA-02:18) I obtained this result: prototipo# pwd /usr/src prototipo# patch -p < /tmp/zlib.patch Hmm... Looks like a unified diff to me... The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |Index: lib/libz/infblock.c |=================================================================== |RCS file: /home/ncvs/src/lib/libz/infblock.c,v |retrieving revision 1.2 |diff -u -r1.2 infblock.c |--- lib/libz/infblock.c 30 Sep 2001 22:39:00 -0000 1.2 |+++ lib/libz/infblock.c 17 Feb 2002 15:19:53 -0000 -------------------------- File to patch: What file I have to patch? I apply patch syncache (SA-02:20) and didn't ask the file I want to patch. Also what is the difference between patch -p < /tmp/zlib.patch and patch < /tmp/zlib.patch? I see the man page for pathc but I didn't understand it very well. Thanks. Iago. ______________________________________________________________________________ mensaje enviado desde http://www.iespana.es emails (pop)-paginas web (espacio ilimitado)-agenda-favoritos (bookmarks)-foros -Chat To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
