Well, no.. /usr/ports/audio/rplay makes and installs just fine.. I am
trying to install linux-realplayer from the port
/usr/ports/audio/linux-realplayer.

I just did the rplay install and it worked fine. But what is it exactly?
:-) 
(I'm under the impression, perhaps wrongly, that linux-realplayer is the
only realplayer with video for freebsd)
