In order for the BIOS to recognize the HDD, I have to use a small program that came with the hard drive. I assume it "fakes-out" the BIOS in order to recognize the entire HDD. Without it, the BIOS and Win 98 only sees an 8GB drive. I want to install FBSD and eventually do away with Windoze. I've also checked for a BIOS update for my system, but none exist; I have the most current one available.
