And you can create a 100 MB memory-backed /tmp simply by adding the following 
to rc.conf

tmpmfs="YES"     
tmpsize="100m" 
tmpmfs_flags="-SM"

If you omit the tmpmfs_flags line, it will default to swap-backed /tmp, which 
may be more useful.
