Hi guys,

I have FreeBSD 4.4 Release and custom kernel
with *options pcm* for the audio card - ESS1869 (EISA).

The card is detected and working, but after few minutes
when I try to play something there is only bad noise
from the card (instead of sound)

I have noticed that when I restart the sound server in KDE 2
the card works well again (for few minutes).

Any ideas?

I have at work FreeBSD 4.3 RELEASE with the same ESS1869
(EISA - not PCI) card and it works perfect!
