All reports are that Luke is a nice guy, and willing to work with
freebsd.  The problem is finding someone in freebsd who is willing
to work on comparing freebsd-ftp to lukemftpd.  Philosophically I'm
all for the idea, but I am another person who can't commit to doing
any useful work on it at the moment.

If we can't find someone on our side to do the necessary work, then
we probably do have to "play down" lukemftpd for the upcoming 5.0
release.  So we need to find that willing volunteer sometime soon,
and someone who has the time right now...

[at this point Garance shirks away, since he isn't volunteering]
