I have 9.0-PRERELEASE installed on it, but the npe driver hasn't changed much since then, so I'm not sure updating will fix things... When I tried to run VLANs on the board, things didn't work. When I tcpdump'd the base interface, I got a ton of truncated-ip messages... Some of the packets that were suppose to be on a vlan didn't appear to have a vlan tag on the npe0 interface... I previously used the same switch w/ an older x86 box and vlans worked fine, though on a much older FreeBSD release... I've attached the dmesg.boot... iirc, the modifications to the source were some things to make pf usable, but that's about it... Any ideas what needs to be done to make vlans work? P.S. Since I only have one board, and I'm using this as a firewall experimenting is a little difficult. Anyone know of a another good ARM board that I could use (and isn't too expensive)? Thanks. -- John-Mark Gurney Voice: +1 415 225 5579 "All that I will do, has been done, All that I have, has not." --G4iJoqBmSsgzjUCe Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="dmesg.boot" KDB: debugger backends: ddb KDB: current backend: ddb Copyright (c) 1992-2011 The FreeBSD Project.
