Other than the FAQ-o-matic, the only resource I know of is the project homepage at http://www.umich.edu/~rsug/netatalk/ FWIW, I was not able to get very far with netatalk-asun; I used the regular (non-asun) netatalk and it was fine. This was under 3.1R and 3.3R.
