More than enough, yes.  Minimal requirements would be more like 200MB and
8MB of RAM.

You can run X on pretty much any standard graphics card these days, but
I would recommend one of the higher-end cards from #9 or ATI.  Performance
is correspondingly better.

It comes free with FreeBSD.

Yes.  You can use mosaic, chimera or a number of other freely available
clients.
