On my computer I have the audio line out my tv card plugged in the CD
line in on my motherboards built in cmedia sound. When I run fxtv if I
choose audio auto I hear sound. I can effect the volume with 'mixer cd'
command. I couldn't get audio working when I plugged it into the AUX
line in on my motherboard.

Thats just a example. I'm not sure if it will help you. Good luck.
