Linux has worse desiogn problems than Mach, and does more than just make up its own, it creates entirely new bad design concepts. But anyway, there's lots of times in the past where he's said things like this, and he loses arguments because he simply doesn't know enough to defend what he says. I think maybe a little too much "free beer", that, or he didn't quite grasp "that whole os d&i thing" to begin with. Mach had a bad design for the slower hardware it was originally designed on, this is true, but today, it isn't half bad. Though I suppose I am every bit as biased as Linus is, but at least I'll defend myself if need be.
