I'm seeing a very similar problem to the one described by Jordan after
installing 4.3-BETA2 on a machine with a brand new drive. The drive is a
9.2G Quantum Atlas 10K II and the controller is an Adaptec 19160 (BIOS
version 2.57.2). The drive passes the verify media test built into the
controller and also passes all the tests included in the Quantum DPS test
suite.
