 VMware have released vmware-tools under GPL:=20
 http://open-vm-tools.sourceforge.net.  I got it to compile cleanly and run=

 under FreeBSD-current and VMServer 1.0.3.  This might be able to replace al=
 l=20
 the vmware-tools* and vmware-guestd* ports however this will need to be=20
 confirmed. =20
 
 I am open for testing should anyone need a test dummy. =20
