I'm pleased to announce the first public release of an ISC sponsored version of INN. ftp.vix.com:/pub/inn/inn-1.5b1.tar.gz is a beta test version of INN 1.5. Some of the new features beyond any 1.4 version (official or unofficial) are: - Perl and TCL hooks for spam(tm) hunting. - The ability to lock out reader who are connecting at to high a rate (e.g. readers using WWW brosers). - The ability to discourage sucking feeds. - PGP verification of control messages. - XBATCH support. - nnrpd will spool if innd is unavilable. See the README file for more details on these and other more minor changes. Please send all bug reports to . Please send all other INN mail to
