I have just gone through the procedure for setting up user PPP client
support in my installation of FreeBSD. The idea is to have the
machine dial my ISP on demand (ie. whenever there is traffic for the
net), and everything seems to work fine. But the problem is that it
insists on dialing out each time I try to make a Telnet or Ftp to the
FreeBSD box from another computer on our LAN.

Can you offer any advice ?

Thanks for your help.

Wayne.
