Hi there, I posted a message yesterday about getting ppp to work. Anyway removed the crappy device from the equation and it now works. My problem is that I get very slow connection speeds. Using windows NT and FreeBSD kernel ppp I get only 800bytes per second. Using FreeBSD to FreeBSD and the same two devices I get 7.5 average over a 2MB file. I am using an ISDN line, so I would expect 7 would be about the norm. Any ideas what could be causing this slow link - it seems to be the NT box, but my client says that NT is great and couldn't possibly be causing my connection to be so slow. cheers craig To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
