I got an error stating "No Valid Configuration for Megahertz" until I specified the 0x1 index. sh also complained about pccard.conf containing errors on the "ether" line; I commented it and those errors disappeared. There appears to be no change in behaviour if I specify "any" versus "?" for the IRQ setting. Greg
