The 4.1 install seems to run OK, it sees the hard drive I have connected to the internal Adaptec 7860 (a 2GB Seagate), and it sees the RAID controller. The first time I tried the install, I had geometry problems, so I turned off the geometry translation on the Adaptec controller. The next time I tried installing, the boot failed - I get a message from the BIOS that prompts me to hit F1 to retry the reboot or F2 to enter setup. Any ideas ? What's the deep magic needed here ?
