You have to enable X11 forwarding (the default ssh and sshd configs on
FreeBSD appear to have it disabled).  You can do this on an ad-hoc basic
with the -X flags to ssh, or more permanently with 'ForwardX11 yes' in your
~/.ssh/config file.  Check out the ssh and ssh_config manpages for full
details on the format of the config files.
