bahahahahahah about the former idea. i've only
been asking for.. oh more than a year now :-)

it's been quite annoying - all the freebsd rsync archives i know
of for the last few days hve only had a 45M iso image for the rc3 ISO..
and only ftp.freebsd.org has the 650M one.. wsigh.

try ftp2.freebsd.org. and i think either ftp3 or ftp8.freebsd.org
was looking into setting up a rsync server.

i'd mention others, but there are so few complete freebsd mirror
sites out there now that allow rsync, i'm scared to mention them
in case i can't connect anymore :-)

you can always use "ftp" to connect to ftp.freebsd.org to mirror
from.
