I have been using sysutils/conky-1.4.7 as a system monitor, as I do on my Linux systems as well. I've recently begun to notice it crashing after running a few hours. When I watch it in top, it's memory usage increases by roughly 3KiB/second. I never had this issue on Linux (conky 1.4.6) If you're curious, I'm using X.Org X Server 1.4.0, FreeBSD 6.2-i386 on a Thinkpad T23 with an S3 SuperSavage IX/C 16 video chip, and xf86-video-savage-2.1.3 .conkyrc: update_interval .1 double_buffer alignment top_left font -*-clean-medium-r-*-*-*-100-*-*-*-*-*-* #draw_borders draw_graph_borders 0 #draw_outline 0 draw_shades 0 gap_x 0 gap_y 24 border_margin 0 border_width 0 maximum_width 64 own_window 1 own_window_colour 2a557f own_window_hints undecorated,below,sticky,skip_taskbar,skip_pager TEXT ${color}$uptime_short ${voffset -4}${color #2a557f}${cpugraph 16,63 2a557f 00ccff} ${voffset -17}$color$cpu%${color #000000}/${color #ff9999}$acpitemp C ${color #2a557f}${diskiograph 16,63 2a557f 00ffcc} ${voffset -16}${color}$diskio ${voffset 1}${color green}${membar 4,30}${offset 2}${color orange}${swapbar 4,30 } ${voffset -3}${color}$running_processes/$processes PSs ${voffset -6}$color$stippled_hr ${voffset -4}${color #8844ee}${downspeedgraph fxp0 16,27 2a557f 8844ee} ${color #22ccff}${upspeedgraph fxp0 16,27 2a557f 22ccff} ${voffset -6}${color blue}${battery_time} -- - Alex Austin Circuitsoft Computer Services (651) 238-9273 www.circuitsoftcs.com "...and then I visited Wikipedia ...and the next 8 hours are a blur."
