4.5-RELEASE should be very interesting with respect to out-of-the-box
disk benchmarking results.

Has the TCP performance problem reported (however vaguely) by the guy
from the Samba team been resolved (or revealed as a non-problem)?

Always nice when a release out-performs its predecessor.  Something
that's getting rare with modern software. :-)
