That's strange. Let's see... $ cat /var/db/pkg/linux_base-6.1/+CONTENTS | grep ld-linux lib/ld-linux.so.1 lib/ld-linux.so.1.9.5 lib/ld-linux.so.2 Apparently my linux-base has it... Interesting thing is that at my computer vmware is linked statically: $ ldd `which vmware` ldd: /usr/local/bin/vmware: not a dynamic executable Maybe there are some installation options. I can't remember now. :( I know that I first installed it on 4.1-S and forgot about it for a while. Then I upgraded to 4.1.1-S and vmware didn't want to run, so I reinstalled it anew. It has worked since then (now I'm using 4.2-R). -- ,oPq J --- Krzysztof Parzyszek 10/15/2000 1:29am --- 7 `8oP' --- Abandon the search for Truth; settle for a good fantasy. --- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
