Hi ! These are the problems with the Console keyboard: >a [1996/11/14] kern/2014 sos Console keyboard lockup problem >o [1997/01/31] kern/2632 enabling psm mouse causes keyboard to not >o [1997/03/24] i386/3082 keyboard locks up unexpectedly >o [1997/03/28] i386/3130 Dell Latitude keyboard lock up >o [1996/10/22] kern/1868 system knows it has no keyboard but compl >o [1996/11/19] misc/2068 Unstable keyboard mappings on the main tt >o [1997/03/09] i386/2924 syscons X keyboard gets stuck in capsmode >o [1997/06/10] kern/3839 X startup undoes keyboard repeat rate (pc I think this one is the one for me: >o [1997/03/24] i386/3082 keyboard locks up unexpectedly Can anyone tell me, why this only happens with 2.2.x but didn't happen with 2.1.x ? This is a real big problem for me. I'm using the memory in an extreme manner. I'm launching heavvy apps etc. And everytime the load gets too high, the Console is dead. Even X and the mouse cursor are stopping (no matter what kind of mouse, it happens with PS/2 mouse and serial mouse). The keyboard is dead (no caps lock, no nothing) but I can remote login. Is anyone working on this ? And are there any tips to avoid locking up the keyboard ? I'm using syscons and don't want to change to pcvt... Bye, Udo -- Udo Wolter, email: uwp@cs.tu-berlin.de !!!
