Dear folks:

In fact, I posted the same question months ago
but didn't get any answers about it. Back then,
the system was R2.2.1 and I upgraded it to R2.2.6
in the hope that it might solve the problem,
but it didn't.

Here's my problem.
I use kernel mode ppp for internet connection from home.
The problem is that I can not telnet to other FreeBSD
boxes. Similarly, I can not browse web pages hosted on
FreeBSD boxes such as www.freebsd.org without a proxy.
Funny thing is that I don't have the same problem w/
Win95 and Linux on the same PC.
What went wrong? Is it network configuration or BSD itself?
I appreciate any hints or suggestions.
