It means that the WD drives asked us to go sync before we got a chance
to ask them first.  So, we have to respond with a synchronouse data
transfer request message to complete the negotiation.  It's merely
a diagnostic that has proven to be quite useful.  I think that the
negotiation problems are behind me now, so I plan to remove this
diagnostic from the CAM version of the driver.
