Has anyone been able to successfully install openldap2 with sasl and
heimdal support? There are severe circular dependencies at work here.
cyrus-sasl depends on openldap and mysql. That means that you first
have to install openldap without sasl support in order to install
cyrus-sasl. Then, you can install openldap with sasl support, but you
have to make sure you installed cyrus-sasl *without* heimdal or the sasl
test in openldap2 configure will fail. Then you can go back and
reinstall cyrus-sasl with HEIMDAL_HOME=/usr in order to get Kerberos 5
support.

Does this seem needlessly complex? Also completely forget about
cyrus-sasl2, it just plain doesn't work...

/Joe
