My keyboard is USB. When the boot process reaches the 'hit enter to continue' stage, nothing happens when I hit enter, it is just a matter of waiting the 5 seconds. Another symptom of trouble is that control-c does not work. For example, if running 'ping', control-c will not stop the process. I'm having to login on another terminal and kill the process.
