I installed FreeBSD 4.0 on my machine and with it, cdrecord 1.8. When I type »cdrecord -scanbus« my Teac CD-R 55 S does not show up, but while booting, it is listed. Cables are firm and tightly connected and under Linux I'm perfectly able to burn CD's with my recorder. What's going wrong?
