Make sure mplayer/mencoder is u= sing=20 xvid. mencoder -tv=20 on:driver=3Dbsdbt848:norm=3Dntsc:width=3D320:height=3D240:input=3D1:chanl= ist=3Dus-bcast:channel=3D6=20 -oac mp3lame -ovc divx4 -o filename.avi -lameopts br=3D64:cbr:q=3D9 I can get 30fps with my 600Mhz Duron straight to divx (800Kb/64Kb=20 Audio/Video). I've noticed with the channel you need to set it one high = than=20 the one you want to record. Also I've had issues with the newer releases= of=20 mencoder not keeping the framerate up. I can send you an older version t= o=20 I've been using that I know works. --=20 Anish Mistry To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
