I've tried to do a floppy/cdrom install of Win95, Win98, and WinME
with no success.  I've got around the PCI bus scan by stepping
through the config.sys <shft><f8> and not loading all those
adaptec drivers.  Unfortunately, I never get a cdrom driver
successfully loaded.  I cannot even do a floppy only (32 of 'em)
of Win95.

OTOH, bootable Win9x CDROMs work every time.
