Started XF86Setup ,selected the ps/2 mouse and Cirrus Logic card and 600X480 with 8 bpp as resolution. (the same card can do 800x600 with 16 bpp in Linux). The test performed by the server was fine and he created a link to SVGA xserver.Rebooted the machne. Now when I type startx I have the message "X connection to 0:0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown) " . I tried also by installing AcceleratedX 5.0 (wich went fine ) but when I startx I have the same message. any clue ?
