One more thing...

I am back to this message after rebuilding the passwd-related files with
pwd_mkdb -p.

I get this message again:

mhg# passwd
passwd: error opening database: /etc/pwd.db.: Permission denied
passwd: /etc/master.passwd: unchanged


Why is it appending a "." on the end of pwd.db?
