I got the sources via FTP:
src-2.2-08* from ftp.freebsd.org, and
src-2.2-800xEmpty from ftp.unicamp.br
i did not get it via cvsup!

So i did:
# cd /usr/src
# rm -fR *
# ctm -v -v /usr/ctm/0800/*
# make buildworld;make installword
# cd /usr/src/sys/i386/conf
# config <my_kernel_config_file>
# cd ../../compile/<my_kernel_config_file>
# make depend;make;make install
# reboot

That's what a did.
Is there any error?
