   I'd say that it isn't altogether clear that they are gaining market share,
at least not significantly. For FreeBSD, I can point to CDROM sales and FTP
download totals. In those cases, FreeBSD growth is not only increasing, but
is growing exponentially year-to-year, with an estimated installed base now
at more than 1/2 million.
