Losing 32KB on a 30GB disk is pretty damn insignificant.  Even if it were a 
512MB disk a .00625% loss is not much.  Why waste time quibbling. <sigh>


IMO, sysinstall shouldn't allow any disks to be done dedicated.  Those 
adamant about using DD can do so manually to prevent less experienced users 
from shooting themselves in the foot.
