There is a small problem with the rc.news script called by the etc/rc.d/diablo.sh. The rc.news should be copied from ${NEWS_PREFIX}/samples/adm/rc.news to ${NEWS_PREFIX} and diablo.sh has a path like /news/news/rc.news. Deleting the hardcoded news/ in rc.news fixes this.
