ITYM the JDK 1.4.1_x release *for* FreeBSD There are only rumours of a release of a native JDK 1.4.1, nothing concrete. Try asking on the freebsd-java@freebsd.org mailing list, as someone there will be better informed. Until then, there are at least 3 flavours of linux jdk 1.4.x that may well serve your needs.
