Can you give me a hint here? I added a console="comconsole" from my 4.0-4.1 box to the non-existant /boot/loader.conf. Nada. RTFM ... copied over loader.4th and added: include /boot/loader.4th start To /boot/loader.rc. Now I get these messages: can't open '/boot/support.4th': no such file or whatever. Puzzled over that one 'til I copied over a support.4th. Now everything boots up just fine, except it is VGA all the way! Whee!
