When copying a large file over the local LAN from the FreeBSd machine
to my mac, I noticed these messages scrolling:
de0: abnormal interrupt: transmit underflow

de0 is my private network ethernet card....during the ftp transfer it
was rather slow....under 400k/sec

Is this a bad card? Or some time of conflict?
