You have probably not added the actions for the relevant MIME types.

audio/mpeg;xmms %s >/dev/null 2>/dev/null
audio/x-mpeg;xmms %s >/dev/null 2>/dev/null
audio/x-mpegurl;xmms %s >/dev/null 2>/dev/null
