You are not allowed to use "cvsup-master" unless you are a primary
mirror (my guess is that the error message occurs when cvsup is
looking for the authentication file).

Connect to a mirror instead.  I think you only have to change
the "host" line in /usr/local/etc/cvsup/config.sh.

I guess cvsup.za.FreeBSD.org or cvsup.za2.FreeBSD.org would be close
to you.
