From: Jay Sachs To: freebsd-java@freebsd.org Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <6574A06B-50CE-11D7-BED9-000393A707CC@eziba.com> X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.551) Sender: owner-freebsd-java@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I'm currently (it's been going a while) buildling the jdk14 port on a -STABLE system (as of this morning). One question: I don't have gcc3 installed, and the port didn't require it. I seem to recollect that a more recent gcc was required, or perhaps that was for the hotspot build of 1.3.1. Should I kill the build, install gcc32, and start over (i.e. am I wasting my time?) So far, no compilation errors. jay To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-java" in the body of the message
