Much better.  So far, only one little glitch.  I had XFree86 configured 
to use /dev/mouse, which used to be a symlink to /dev/cuaa0.  Easy enough 
to fix.

I haven't tested anything yet, except logging in and answering mail, but 
it looks fine so far.  Thanks!
