the problem is that it wants to install the bootstrap/tools as
bin.bin.555, etc, which an
unpriveledged user can't do....

is there a way to override the tools BINOWN, BINGRP for buildworld in a
way that doesn't muck it up for installworld?

can MK_FLAGS be used for this?
MK_FLAGS += BINOWN=`whoami` BINGRP=`whoami`
