(have seen similar reports in october). I here noise if i cat some files to /dev/dsp, however. Is there a patch for the cmi part so that it uses the dsp port regardless of sampling rate? Strange, but i cannot read cdroms burned on this mb at home at a computer with ali motherboard (both cd drives, one writer one teac cdrom) but at another athlon with same teac cdrom drive and plextor writer i can read the cdrom on both drives (athlon mb with Via chipset).
