Hi all, I'm in need of a little help in setting up a CVSup client. I'm sure there's something simple I'm missing. Here are the details: bash-2.05$ uname -a FreeBSD thor.geeksatlarge.com 4.3-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.3-RELEASE #0: Sat Apr 21 10:54:49 GMT 2001 jkh@narf.osd.bsdi.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC i386 bash-2.05$ /usr/local/bin/cvsup -v CVSup client, GUI version Software version: REL_16_1 Protocol version: 16.1 bash-2.05$ cat /root/bin/supfile *default tag=RELENG_4 *default host=cvsup7.freebsd.org *default prefix=/usr *default base=/usr/local/etc/cvsup *default release=cvs delete use-rel-suffix compress src-all ports-all tag=. doc-all tag=. The following is the error message I'm getting: thor# /usr/local/bin/cvsup -g -L 2 /root/bin/supfile /var/tmp/dest Parsing supfile "/root/bin/supfile" Connecting to cvsup7.freebsd.org Connected to cvsup7.freebsd.org Protocol negotiation failed: See http://www.polstra.com/projects/freeware/CVSup/s1g/ for upgrading information Could this be something as simple as an upgrade as stated, or do I have the wrong hostname, or is there something else that I'm not aware of?
