To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Sat, 11 Dec 1999 23:30:48 EST X-Mailer: Elm [revision: 212.4] Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Using 3.3-Release. smb.conf is ok (based on testparm). Starting /usr/local/sbin/smbd -D; /usr/local/sbin/nmbd -D The sbmd and nmbd lines are commented out in inet.conf. nmbd looks ok..it finds broadcast info, etc. Getting the following in the log file: [1999/12/11 22:28:07, 0] smbd/oplock.c:open_oplock_ipc(92) open_oplock_ipc: Failed to get local UDP socket for address 100007f. Error was Can't assign requested address Any ideas where I'm screwing up?
